Ironic how quickly we embrace oblivion
Yet we swore we’d never forget to only rely on ourselves
It’s the awareness that there can’t be any trust that makes us eventually feel strong
Or at least strong enough to endure falling in love

I know you’re never gonna listen to any strong voice, unless it come from your heart
Even now using the most rational of thoughts, I could never judge rationally upon us

Cause everything you promised yourself, every mistake you swore you’d never make again, you’re gonna find yourself lost in it another time, as many times as you’re willing to walk this contradictory path

To embrace the pain with open arms is less of a dissappointment

Why do we sometimes destroy the things that are so precious to us? Just to cause ourselves pain?
As if we were trapped in something too beautiful we can’t let go off.
But it eats us and it’s getting worse every single minute.

I am both aware and scared of the ability to make the right decisions.
It will never prevent us from misery.
Nothing will ever prevent us from misery.
